The price is really low, within a 10‑minute walk from Taipei Station, and there’s a convenience store right in front, so if you just need a place to sleep it’s good value. The mattress had stains, but because there’s a sheet cover I could sleep without too much worry. In some rooms the Wi‑Fi doesn’t work.

The public areas are well equipped, but the air conditioning in the female cabin is only in the shared space, not inside the cabin itself, so if you’re heat‑sensitive you might want to think twice. The shower drain and water barrier need major improvement; after a shower it feels like the shower room is flooded.

I booked a D4 room with an extra shower, but after using it the water leaked through the floor cracks onto the wooden floor outside the dry area, and the TV remote was dead so I couldn’t use the television.
