Ironclad Inn and Bourbon Room

“Very unique and cozy Inn at a comparable price”

Well‑kept historical treasure—seems to be the elegant home’s original floor plan with very little modernization. The free chef‑prepared breakfast served by the staff in the downstairs dining room was wonderful! It was also so nice to sit on the huge furnished front porch and drink coffee. I think the Ironclad is a great value and really enjoyed my stay (so did my mother). The only thing I missed in my room was the full‑length mirror usually on the back of a door; my mother and I were attending a wedding and it would’ve been nice to be able to check our dresses before leaving the inn.

“Fantastic and look forward to coming again!”

Loved the hospitality and the welcome snacks when we arrived and the Bourbon bar staff. Breakfast was delicious. Price was very reasonable. The woman who worked the breakfast was not super friendly . Seemed to be bothered when I asked for a cup of coffee at 8:10am before breakfast was served. Then was in no hurry to wait on us when 0830 came around

The Inn is stunning, and I loved the breakfast and the Bourbon room downstairs. It’s conveniently close to excellent restaurants and fun shops, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Next time I’ll pick a larger room; ours was comfortable but I saw some that were amazing. I’ll definitely come back.

“Terrible venue…very dirty!”

There was hardly anything positive. The room was dirty, musty, and smelled moldy. It was nothing like the pictures or the description on the inn’s website. I’m very disappointed and would never recommend this place or return.
