The ski‑in/ski‑out setup was excellent, the staff were very polite, the rooms were comfortable and the on‑site hot springs offered two options, which was great; the lobby fireplace added a nice atmosphere. However, the resort is fairly remote with no shops nearby, the little shop on the property had a very limited range, dinner was limited to pricey kaiseki cuisine, and the breakfast buffet was just average and similarly priced at the mid‑to‑high range.

The hotel had a wonderful vibe throughout my visit and I can’t think of any downside.

The place is right on the ski slope, but they didn’t provide any children’s sleepwear.

The view was gorgeous, yet the room couldn’t get any Wi‑Fi and the bathroom extractor was extremely noisy.
