I loved the spot, the room was just the right size, and the balcony was a bonus; the pool was perfect for watching sunsets. Having two points of access to the hotel was also very handy. I tried to order dinner via room service, called the restaurant, and had to dial three times before someone finally answered and put me on hold; I waited nearly 20 minutes with no one taking my call, so I left the room and grabbed something from the hotel marketplace, which wasn’t exactly what I wanted.

The spot was ideal—right in the middle of Clearwater Beach, within walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops, and the pier was just a short walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food at the hotel was great if you didn’t feel like going out. There was nothing we didn’t like about our visit.
