The welcome was excellent, the room was comfortable, the Wi‑Fi from the room was very good, the price was fair, tap water was provided, and the décor was great. The downside was that you get a bit lost in the Medina on the way there, but people help you find it.

I stayed in the city centre, which was convenient, but this was the worst hostel I’ve ever been in. Most things were broken or not working, the bunk bed collapsed, and the noise from the busy street with the windows open was overwhelming.

The roof was decent, but the hostel itself looked run‑down and stray cats and kittens roamed around. I tried the very basic breakfast once and then skipped it. One of the ground‑floor toilets was used to store trash, and a shower was used to hold cleaning utensils. The AC in my room wasn’t working; when I mentioned it, the staff said “Bro it’s cold right now,” and after I asked again they promised it would be fixed the next day. During my 3‑night stay they never even attempted a repair, so it was still off when I left. They don’t give you a key for the front door, so you have to ring the bell and then they drop a key on a cord from the roof. They only let you in until 1 am, which was fine for me. When I arrived I didn’t have cash to pay for the room, and they insisted I pay immediately and would guide me to an ATM. I didn’t like how pushy they were; I’ve never had this issue at another hostel.
