“Très bien”
The breakfast quality and presentation were varied. The location is just next to the train that takes you to the metro exchange (about 15‑20 minutes) and to the World Trade Center area and the ferry to the Statue of Liberty. Line 1 of the metro is handy for Times Square, among other places. Nearby are a few small restaurants, a pharmacy, a wine and alcohol shop, and a Sports Illustrated store. Our room was spacious with two comfortable queen beds, a sofa bed that we didn’t open, and we saw another room where it was open and looked good. We had a full kitchen with a standard fridge, stove, dishwasher, utensils, and cookware, plus a work table. The bathroom was very large with a big shower. Frankly, someone could live there year‑round! We were well served. There’s a small convenience store behind reception. A card is needed to access the floors. At arrival we weren’t sure of our choice because the entrance was narrow, but everything else was perfect. There’s a small bar with a singer on certain evenings and a little outdoor terrace. A large hall with tables, a huge sofa, and a giant screen makes you feel almost at home. Secure paid parking is available. We’ll definitely return. The exterior entrance isn’t straightforward, making it hard to know how to park while dropping off luggage; we had to go further out.
