Guests can rent canoes on the Glems River, explore the Swabian wine region and Stromberg‑Heuchelberg Nature Park (both 10 km). I was welcomed with great friendliness, exactly what I needed after a long day, and I appreciate the hospitality. The accommodation itself was lacking, but the neighbors were a bit noisy.

The management was very accommodating. I was charged twice by Booking but the hotel resolved it without any problems. At night someone knocked on the door and searched for another person, and there was also increased noise from neighboring rooms. The hotel is part of a “related clientele” crowd. The ambience is clean but a bit rustic. Unfortunately there is no TV reception except for internet with only public DVB‑T channels. Wi‑Fi is not very strong.

I stayed there for one night, and the lady who greets guests is super nice. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom offers more than enough room. Everything was also clean and tidy. So if you’re looking for good value, you can’t complain here. I booked a single night without breakfast, yet the next morning they still offered two coffees and one cappuccino on the house. I can only recommend it.
