“Price/Quality”
The price was good and the staff were very friendly. However, the room was less hygienic than I expected – there was moisture on the walls, spiderwebs in the corners, and the door didn’t open smoothly.

The hostel is located well and the staff were very sweet, and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell far short of our hopes: the pictures looked bright and fresh, but the room felt dank, dark, and grim, with only sterile, cold lights. The sheets seemed cleaned but maybe dusty, and there was mould in the room and in a strange, semi‑abandoned common kitchen, giving a damp, grimy vibe. I understand standards in Laos may differ from neighboring countries, but we came from further south where accommodation was basic yet clean and cheerful. I’m not sure if the property was under renovation—there were signs excusing noise—and the overall vibe was strange and a bit bleak. I hope they can revamp and improve heavily over the wet/low season.

The hotel manager is super friendly and speaks French. She offers brand‑new scooters for rent at very reasonable prices. The rooms are a bit cramped, but the bedding is very comfortable and the air‑conditioning works great.

Nisa was a very good host and speaks fluent French, which made communication easy :) She helped us arrange our sleeping‑bus transport to Vang Vieng and introduced us to Muay Lao classes in the city :) The hotel is very well located and clean. Thanks, Nisa!
