The hotel sits close to the metro station in a quiet neighborhood. The facilities are solid—nothing extraordinary, but exactly what we needed and what we paid for.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the reception was open 24 hours, so we had no trouble with our late arrival. The hotel is easily reachable by public transport. It’s great that the lobby offers free coffee, tea, and water, and there’s also a small shop. On the day of departure we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel and pick it up later. The furnishings were a bit dated, but the value for money in New York was unbeatable.

The location was excellent and it was easy to get into Manhattan. The only downside was hearing the trains at night; I used ear plugs and it wasn’t loud enough to disturb my sleep.

The room was a good size, it was comfy, the bed was nice and big. The location is dreadful. I didn’t see any other reviews talking about the fact it’s opposite a rail road. I barely got any sleep as all night long trains are honking their horns repeatedly. I can normally sleep through anything
