Mook Bamboo Bungalows

We spent a gorgeous week at the Mook Bamboo Bungalows on Ko Mook. The bungalows are scattered through the forest and each has a lovely terrace where you can wind down in the evening. Walking to Charlie Beach takes about 5 minutes, where you can enjoy a dreamy sunset. Reaching the town takes roughly 30 minutes on foot, but you can also hop on a tuk‑tuk for 100 Bath. The host, Mokai, and the rest of the staff were always friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious, with a range of sets to choose from, and the cozy restaurant served tasty Thai food at a good price. There was nothing to complain about and we were very satisfied.

“Great accommodation close to Farang Beach”

The family running this place is incredibly friendly and helpful. The bungalows are simple yet clean, set in a beautiful garden and within walking distance of Charlie/Farang Beach, the best spot for sunset. The house cat is extra cute!

The bungalows are very nicely furnished and have their own terrace and private bathroom. We booked a room without air conditioning, so it was a bit warm during the day. The beach is only about 5 minutes' walk away. For getting to town, a scooter or bike is recommended. Alternatively, taxis are available at the beach – a transfer for two people costs about 100 Baht. The staff were friendly and helpful. They assisted us with booking our ferry to the next island and arranged a taxi for us. Everything was great :)

A wonderful little oasis of peace, fairly central on Ko Mook. Perfect for relaxing. The owners are super friendly and nice. Even though I stayed only one night instead of five, that was because Ko Mook felt too much for me, so I headed straight back to Ko Libong.

“Quiet, lovely clean with friendly staff”

It’s in a quiet spot, surrounded by many trees and wildlife. Nothing else – it’s a basic bamboo hut with an en‑suite shower and porch.
