David Lux beach rooms

It was the usual great experience; on our third visit in September it was really quiet. I wish I could have stayed longer 😀

“we only occasionally ran into the receptionist in passing, no other stuff”

The hotel doesn’t serve breakfast; the on‑site restaurant opens at 12 PM, so you’ll need to find breakfast elsewhere. They offered breakfast for 10 € per person, but that was only until 20 August, not in September. During the ten days I stayed, nobody cleaned the room or changed the bathroom towels or bed linen. The bed covers were in very poor condition—worn out and without covers. The pillows were very worn, lumpy, and no longer fluffed because of improper washing. A receptionist met us at the entrance, but we didn’t really get to know the hotel staff.

Central location, right on the beach, hotel with parking. The staff were absent even during reception hours and there was no phone number to contact them. The shower drain didn’t work, toilet paper ran out after half a day, no spare paper was provided, and there was no way to ask for new toilet paper (reception was unoccupied). The reception was also not present at check‑out.

We were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. First, we were poorly received by a lady who demanded payment immediately. The bathroom was poorly cleaned, the shower was clogged and dirty. Then the sheets had yellow stains, the safe didn’t work, the room was noisy, the doors didn’t close properly and everyone had to slam them. A 3 % bank fee was added, whereas other places don’t charge it. We should have been moved to another room because of a leak, but that wasn’t possible. Only on the day of departure were we offered a different room. I do not recommend this place. Very bad experience.
