I was greeted with a very friendly welcome, the owner‑run place felt personal and I truly felt at home. The motorcycles could be parked safely right in front of the hotel. The dinner and wine were excellent, and I’d gladly return anytime ♡

The low rating for this accommodation surprised me a lot because my experience was completely different. As a flight attendant, I spend about eight months a year staying in hotels worldwide, so when I travel for leisure I look for places with personality, and this little hostel delighted me. It’s a peculiar spot with a very particular vintage style and a lot of charm. Obviously it isn’t a modern hotel nor does it aim to be, and I think it’s important to evaluate it with that in mind. It’s located in a very small village, and that’s part of its appeal. I felt very comfortable, the atmosphere seemed pleasant, and the service was friendly. After spending so many months a year sleeping in hotels for work, I’m very grateful to find different, authentic places with character. I truly believe the current rating does not do justice to the accommodation. If you’re looking for a modern, design‑focused hotel, it probably isn’t what you want. But if you want a different spot with personality and charm, I fully recommend it. I would definitely come back.
