Nothing really. I was turned away and no one answered the phone. I had said via message that we would arrive later because of renovation work. We waited more than an hour and finally begged Fletcher Hotel to free up a room for three people. They didn’t help us well, and afterward the hotel never contacted us about how it went. The experience was awful, never happened before, and it was the accommodation’s fault.

The location is great, right next to the city centre, and parking bikes was no hassle. The hotel looked more appealing on Booking and the official site than it actually was, so we were disappointed. The promised restaurant with a menu or à la carte never opened, and breakfast was still unprepared and only mediocre when we arrived.

The staff that were there did their best, but it was clear the employee was still new to his role; with a good mentor he could improve. The room was large, which was very pleasant, and you could easily enter the hotel from the side. I had read earlier reviews saying the rooms were warm, but now they have air‑co, fans, and extra heaters. It was a busy nightlife area, so at night we had a lot of noise. If you want a central location and like to go out, this is great, but for our family it was a huge disappointment, something not mentioned anywhere and not found in previous reviews. Breakfast was also not up to our expectations for a hotel.
