The check‑in and check‑out process ran smoothly even though no one was on site over the weekend. The room was well equipped with everything needed. The location was good, close to the main street, and parking was available. No complaints.

The rooms were clean and the location is nice by the lake, but the hotel operates as a self‑service facility: you receive a code that opens a key box and lets you into the room, which was expected. However, the front door stayed open all night, potentially allowing strangers in, and no staff were present. The outdoor area was poorly maintained, with some corners neglected for a long time. The windows are very old, need frequent cleaning, and the hinges should be oiled. The website did not make clear that breakfast is only offered Monday to Thursday (I think) and that it costs more than listed; breakfast is also available in the town.

“Idyllisch am See gelegen, freundliches Personal, gute !”

The room was spacious with a balcony, and the staff were very friendly; a booking mistake on my part was easy to resolve. The location is very difficult, with almost no public transport, no taxis, Uber only sporadically available, and a restriction that made things harder.
