Nestled beside Arnhem’s Sonsbeekpark, Hotel Molendal occupies a late‑19th‑century Art Nouveau heritage building, preserving original details that evoke nostalgic charm. Its monumental status offers historic ambiance, while the central station, shops and restaurants lie within a five‑minute walk. Though lacking an elevator, air‑conditioning, and bike storage, guests enjoy free bike parking nearby for the first 24 hours.

Ce que les clients pensent de l'hôtel, aspect par aspect.
The location and art‑deco style show great potential, and Brent at reception was very welcoming. The rooms, however, need a complete refurbishment; they are over 50 years old, feature a windowless bathroom with poor ventilation, no heated tower rail, very old thick carpet, and windows with peeling paint.

Friendly staff and plenty of options made my visit a pleasure.

Positief: De sfeer van het hotel, het ontvangst, de verzorging van een drankje doen met wat lekker en het ontbijt, zo ontzettend sfeervol en dan de locatie ideaal

I liked that the building was historic, but the walls were so thin that conversations were easily heard.

The location and historic architecture were great, yet the shower’s running water was poor.
