“Schönes Hotel in zentraler Lage Ostfrieslands mit einem ausgezeichneten Restaurant”
The Aurich hotel sits in a great spot for exploring East Frisia and its islands, and the city centre is easy to reach on foot. The atmosphere is very pleasant, with staff who are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotless and well set up, and the breakfast buffet offers a wide range of high‑quality options. A large parking lot is available. The attached restaurant “Tom Brook” is the real highlight, with its exceptionally tasty dishes – we especially loved the crab soup and the plaice Finkenwerder style. A few minor issues: a coffee machine in the room would be nice, the TV screen could be a bit larger, the mattresses felt very firm to us (though that’s a matter of taste), and it would be better to have a small selection of fresh coffee instead of the filter coffee from the thermos.
