The spot is right under the fortress, making it a perfect base for catching the Cable Car over to Koblenz, and the Uber ride back was spot‑on.

The staff were very friendly, and the direct bus connection to the old town is something you should use now that the ferry no longer runs; the rooms and bathrooms were renovated and the mattresses comfortable, though the rooms are quite small and the furniture could be swapped out. For a short trip to Koblenz it was perfect, the place is dog‑friendly, everything matched our needs, and the price was good.
