The concept of seclusion with nature was almost perfect, but it felt very primitive for us, although overall it was comfortable.

The hosts and staff were very kind! We shared breakfasts and dinners with other guests and the host, and the food was delicious. The quiet, family‑like atmosphere made it a great retreat. The villagers from Sudaji were friendly and smiling. There were no negatives.

The beautiful family that created this oasis of peace pays attention to every detail. The breakfasts and dinners are incredible, truly among the best, and although it can be hard to sleep because of animal noises at night, it’s an idyllic place with a beautiful purpose and message. If we return to Bali, we’ll definitely spend a few days there again. The village and surroundings are simple, the people always smile, and they let you integrate into real culture. If you don’t have your own vehicle, moving around is very difficult, but locals can help.

There are places that leave you with more than just memories… This place is definitely one of them. ❤️ Our stay with Putu and ZanZan was truly special. From the first moment we felt not like guests but part of a family. Their immense warmth, smiles, care, and natural hospitality made us feel safe, calm, and simply… at home. Putu and ZanZan are wonderful people, and their son is equally great. Meeting them was one of the most beautiful experiences of our trip. They are people you meet by chance, yet they stay in your heart for a long time. They definitely belong to that group. ❤️ The food was absolutely delicious! Fresh, homemade, prepared with great heart and full of real local flavors. Every meal was more than just food – it was another beautiful experience. The homestay itself is very clean, well‑maintained, and full of good energy. But what makes this place truly special are the people and the atmosphere they create. It’s also an amazing place to stay, quiet, and reflect on yourself. Away from the rush, you can really breathe, organize your thoughts, and feel inner peace. For us it was a time of cleansing – both mind and heart. Hard to describe in words, but we left lighter, calmer, and full of gratitude. Staying here reminded us that traveling isn’t always about visiting new places. Sometimes the most important thing is meeting the right people. Putu and ZanZan – thank you for your warmth, smiles, hospitality, delicious food, and for letting us feel at home so far from ours. ❤️ From the bottom of our hearts we recommend this place to anyone looking for more than just accommodation. If you want to experience true Balinese hospitality, peace, beautiful people, and a place that lets you truly stay, definitely come here.

The accommodation looked beautiful, with a lovely garden, tables, trees, and a pool, and the vegetarian food was wonderfully well cared for. Unfortunately, we were unlucky to arrive at that time; they were very busy organising a community run, constantly discussing it, which made us feel occasionally forgotten—scooter arrangements were eventually sorted out (we could borrow a scooter, though it had no licence plate), but I had requested a manicure/pedicure and heard nothing about it, nor did I get transport. After several calls, someone finally arrived an hour later. It’s also worth noting the doors don’t lock, and you really need a scooter to see the surroundings near the waterfalls.
