The location is good and there’s an elevator, but the door kept shifting back and forth when locked, making a banging sound for a few hours in the middle of the night until we finally figured it out. The AC stopped working after 5 minutes.

Great location if you don’t have a car and can walk around, but the toilets didn’t work very well.

A tiny family‑run budget hotel right in the heart of Ponta Delgada made my visit a joy; Victor and his wife were incredibly friendly and welcoming. After the first night I requested a room change because the first‑floor room was a bit noisy and the front‑most, so Victor moved me to the top floor with no hassle, and I loved it. The hotel and my room stayed spotless throughout, and the location was unbeatable—everything was on the doorstep, from a small convenience store to the amazing coffee shop GIZA down the road, plus a launderette that was perfect for my long travels. Great value.

The king sized bed was incredibly comfortable, the blinds keep out the light, I slept very well. Communication with the staff was easy, very friendly and helpful
