The location was central and the hosts were friendly, but the breakfast left a lot to be desired: the toast was moldy, the butter and yogurt were past their expiry dates, so we ended up eating out instead.

The place sits in a great spot, very central, with many options within walking distance and bus stops right outside the door; there are plenty of eating places and the bathroom is spacious with two sinks. On the downside, the centrality brings a lot of noise – honking, loud music – and the bed was uncomfortable: the mattress sagged and the pillows were too firm. There were few power outlets, and although the hotel advertises balconies, none of the rooms actually have one – only a small shared balcony in the dining area that all guests can use. Communication was tough because the front‑desk lady and the cleaning staff didn’t speak English. When we arrived, we weren’t even told which floor the B&B was on. The breakfast selection was limited to sweets, with no cheese, cold cuts, or vegetables (see photos). Some rooms looked outdated, and because it’s a B&B, you can hear people having breakfast in your room. Our room was cleaned only twice during the six nights, and towels were changed only three times; the first cleaning didn’t happen until four days in, only after we complained.

The experience was terrible. The building could be nice and the manager friendly, but the suite was in unacceptable hygienic condition: dust everywhere and hair from previous guests on the floor, in the bathroom and shower. We asked for extra cleaning, which never happened – the next day they just made the bed, with no real intervention or manager oversight. Things got worse with foul‑smelling linens and a mattress protector that kept shifting, forcing us to sleep directly on the mattress. The breakfast area also had cleanliness issues, with ants on the shelf. This ruined our entire stay and we won’t return.

The location is strategic for exploring the city on a main street, and although it’s a busy road, you don’t hear it from the room. The cleaning, welcome, and the pleasant scent in the house were great. The room photos I’d seen before didn’t match the actual room, but it was still good for the two nights we stayed. The breakfast definitely needs improvement.
