The owner was helpful and let me leave my stuff while I went to Machu Picchu. It’s a modest place, an old house turned into a hostel, with an indoor bathroom and blankets for the cold, but the entrance isn’t very clean. Still, if you just need a bed and a shower, it does the job.

Everything was dirty; at the entrance we found a dead kitten and dog poop that stayed until the next day. The shower was practically unusable because the hot water only dripped.
