“Friendly, helpful and polite.”
The owners and staff were extremely friendly, helpful, accommodating and polite. Our Green Room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was plentiful and filling. We will definitely stay at St Nicholas House again.
Breakfast was okay. The bed was comfortable, but it was dangerous having to walk down steps into the bathroom during the night. I wouldn't go back. The staff went through the motions of being pleasant but were not customer friendly.

Everything about St Nicholas House was excellent. We had a wonderful break and enjoyed meeting everybody who were welcoming, friendly and professional. I have no complaints.

Both our room and the building itself were lovely, with plenty of period features and furniture. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was good, and the owners were very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.
