The location was good, but parking was a real hassle; the breakfast was excellent and I liked the wide variety.

The place was nice, the pool was great, and the breakfast offered options for lactose intolerance or gluten sensitivity. The equipment was outdated and the staff seemed somewhat indifferent; during housekeeping they almost always forgot something—one towel was taken and never replaced, a mineral water bottle sat on the table for 5 days… these little things add up over a few days. On the eighth floor I found a cockroach in my room, the first time that’s happened to me in Spain; the room was swapped, but they never apologized and I had to wait from the morning until 3 pm for the new room. The bathroom was really small and I can’t imagine it working well if I were less mobile.

We especially appreciated how the reception staff, both the girls and the guy, treated us, and the cleaning lady—who I think was Italian—went out of her way to accommodate my pet; we’ll definitely come back.
