The view from the room was wonderful. The food was very tasty, and I liked that local ingredients were used. I was greedy and booked a large course, so I couldn’t finish everything and felt regretful. The miso soup with the migratory crab at breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The futon was comfortable, and I slept soundly. Thank you for the care. I’d like to use it again when I visit the area next time. I would appreciate it if you could also provide instant coffee in the room.

“1万円は高い”

I liked that breakfast was served in the room and it was Japanese, not a buffet. The price of 10400円 felt steep, the washbasin was wobbly, and the room lights had no dimmer; when I turned them off it was pitch black, and when I left one on I couldn't sleep. I tried to fill the room bathtub before bed, but the water wouldn't heat, so I had to go to the large bath instead.

“物超所值”

The hotel is a ten‑minute walk from Koshin Island Station along the coast, or you can take the shuttle bus. Dinner and breakfast were generous, and eating indoors let me enjoy the beautiful Yingyu Bay. The room service after meals was friendly and quick, making the stay pleasant. The building sits on a small hill, so walking up takes a bit of effort.

“Great view, great food, friendly service.”

It’s close to the train station and the room food is great. The staff were friendly. The onsen was okay, but the changing area lacked basic amenities like a hairbrush or ear cleaners. The outdoor pool was only 1‑2 feet deep—ideally it should be clear that it’s meant for babies or kids under 3‑4 years old.

“A true ryokan retreat experience.”

The view of Ago Bay is gorgeous, and the outdoor onsen is a treat in the evening. The Japanese seafood breakfast served in the room is excellent. Kashikojima Island gets pretty quiet after dark, but we had a car from Toba, drove along the Pearl Road, and stopped at Ugata for dinner.
