“Buenas vistas.”
The spot is great and the views are stunning, but what really stood out was the staff—friendly and always checking if you needed anything. They handed out beach towels and swapped them daily if you wanted, plus they kept plenty of water in the rooms. The rooms had wardrobes and were very bright, especially those on the upper floor where we stayed. Safety is solid, the air‑conditioning works, and there are also fans to beat the island heat. Next to Bando Beach is the private beach, and the hotel has its own dock with hammocks for relaxing or swimming if you prefer. On the downside, the bed linens and dishes were clean, but the wooden floor brought in a lot of dirt. Even though there’s a housekeeping service, I chose to tidy up myself. We requested kitchen supplies, but there’s nothing complete—only basic heating or instant cooking items, and no kitchen cleaning tools, so you’d have to buy everything yourself. If you’re traveling with a group, there’s no place to hang wet beach clothes. TV options are limited compared to other places. There’s a Mexican restaurant nearby, but watch out for high European or U.S. prices. At checkout, extra charges always pop up—whether you pay by card, cash, or bank transfer, they’re added to the reservation cost.
