“Belle demeure soignée”
The renovation of this beautiful house is lovely. It’s quiet, well equipped, and well maintained. It’s ideally located, just a short walk from the centre, and parking is easy (at least in off‑season) with a self‑service key box. Communication with the owner is good. The layout features rooms on separate floors; the ground floor has a living room, a toilet, and a small courtyard/inner garden for nice days, while the first floor has a fully equipped kitchen. Note that in the upper‑level Bali room, the toilet integrated into the bathroom, which itself is integrated into the room, isn’t visually or acoustically isolated. A “tasseaux à clairevoie” decoration acts as a partition, so consider your privacy needs with your room‑mate. Luckily there is a toilet on the ground floor in the common area that can offset this small inconvenience.
