I was staying for a late-night party at 白石, so the free in-and-out access was a real convenience. A staff member approached me and made me feel at home and reassured. Though I didn’t use it, the kitchen looked handy too.

This hostel tops all the ones I've been to in Japan. The hosts are genuinely friendly and welcoming. The common lounge and kitchen were perfect for relaxing and meeting fellow travelers, so I'll definitely book again.

Friendly, helpful, and flexible staff who speak English well create a welcoming vibe; the common areas are nice and service is overall good. The shoes at the entrance make the genkan a bit smelly, but that’s not a big deal; the stay was amazing anyway.
