Pension Feldschlössl

I liked the location, being outside the city means you need a car or bus, and the owner from Romania is genuinely kind and cares for guests; I’ll definitely come back soon. One of the female volunteers from the Foundation felt unsafe in the parking area because a possible migrant worker or visitor kept watching her from a window behind the parking lot, and when it got dark I had to stay nearby; this isn’t a fault of the owner, but it could be improved so women feel safer.

The room was big, everything was tidy, and the fridge with freezer was large; the beds were good and the staff or owners were friendly, and everything else was neat. However, the place felt a bit old; the shower rod almost fell, there were no nightstands, no elevator which is a pity for people with mobility issues, and the windows didn’t block out noise from the road, so I could hear cars and other traffic. Breakfast was sparse, but overall most things were present. These small issues could be better; the room is still recommended for the price.

Everything was excellent, and nothing was disappointing.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We arrived later than the latest check‑in time and it was no problem. We were shown parking in the back garden and told where the owner lived if we needed help. The rooms were cozy, the in‑room fridge/freezer was nice, and the service of providing a water bottle when we arrived was great. Breakfast was good 😊. The only downside is that the place is worn and under continuous renovation.

The manager’s personal attention was appreciated, but the location is under renovation, so the pension is currently being rebuilt.
