The staff were exceptional, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. The room was comfortable, clean, and well‑appointed, and I especially liked the air conditioning in the cold weather. I was attending a conference at the Lower Hutt Events Centre, and the location was perfect—just the right distance for a refreshing walk to and from the venue, giving me a chance to clear my head between sessions. The only slight disappointment was the restaurant; the service was excellent, but the food didn’t quite live up to the high standard of service, and it may not be typical according to other reviews.
