The rooms were comfortable and the minimalistic décor remained warm. A few small details were lacking (no sink stopper). Outside of breakfast, there was no option to dine at the hotel.

A beautiful, modern hotel (in a historic shell) in a perfect location, with staff fully committed to friendly, warm service. We were upgraded to a suite that was incredibly spacious, with generous storage and other amenities. Breakfasts were delicious and substantial with a good variety of options. The lobby library was a lovely spot to relax and hang out when the weather turned sour. Old Montreal was very noisy on our first evening (a Saturday), with the (also very noisy) Montreal marathon starting early the next morning. Because our room was a bit warm, we had no choice but to open the windows and endure the ruckus echoing off the stone buildings. Not a knock on the hotel – just be aware of the nature of the neighborhood!

A great hotel right in the city center. We had a pleasant stay, thanks to the very friendly, smiling staff who were always ready to help. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was fine, and there are plenty of restaurants just 2‑3 minutes on foot for dinner. We also appreciated our valet for his kindness.
