Harrigan's Hunter Valley

It turned out to be surprisingly quiet for its location; we could catch the live music but not the crowd in the pub. The rooms were decent in size, a bit worn but clean and comfy. The breakfast buffet and menu items offered good value. It would be nice if the bistro allowed take‑away orders, especially since there are few other spots within walking distance and the bistro on Fridays or Saturdays can be very stressful for kids with sensory issues.

“Convenient, comfortable and good value. We would use Harrigans again.”

Location was good, two-bedroomed apartment was excellent with nice stretch of grass at the back. Rooms were spacious, beds comfortable, bathrooms very good. Took us a while to figure out how to turn A/C off. We were trying to use the machine in the kitchen and didn't realise that there was a different control for the bedrooms

“Good value for money.”

The location is good, the pool is nice, and the on‑site bistro is lovely. The beds are very soft and could use new mattresses.

“A lovely stay with great facilities, friendly staff, and a fantastic location!”

The location was fantastic, the staff were wonderful, and the food was delicious. The room was spacious and tidy, and every facility—pool, gardens, pub areas—was well‑maintained and clean. We were a bit worried about pub noise at first, but honestly we barely heard anything! Earplugs are even in the room for those sensitive to sound. Overall, a great experience and a lovely place to stay. The beer was a touch pricey for me, though I guess they have a bit of a monopoly since there aren’t many other pubs nearby.
