“I did not like the hotel, would never recommend it.”

They provided shampoo and body wash, but the hallway carpet had a strong odor, the sheets and towels were ripped and stained, the chairs and couch looked dirty, the lamps were broken, the A/C unit blew foul air, the room carpet smelled of mildew, and I had to spray the A/C unit, bed, and pillows with Lysol daily; I avoided touching the door frames because they were dirty, the room door had a broken lock and gaps at the bottom, the microwave inside was yellow and orange, but the fridge worked; I stayed from Monday through Friday because the booking refund policy would have cost me double my expense—$220 was the room rate for the week, while the refund policy would have cost $197—and my budget didn’t allow me to pay another $200 elsewhere.

You get what you pay for, so complaints are out of place; the hotel is old, but the front‑desk lady was very friendly, there are plenty of parking spots, and it’s close to historic downtown; the bed is large and comfortable, the bathroom is old but clean, and for the price it’s really okay; however, it’s simply very old and worn, with stains on the wallpaper, cracks in the decorative ceiling, no pictures or other decor on the walls, and it feels like a budget rental, but as mentioned, it was super cheap.

The property manager was very helpful when we needed a pickup at the truck stop, and that was great.
