“Simple, clean, albeit dated but a great location”
Clean and comfortable but quite dated and simple, though the location was excellent. The fridge and kettle were very useful to have, the bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of wardrobe space, shelves, and drawers. A bar is advertised and shown on the hotel leaflet, but it didn’t look like it had been open for years. There was no duvet cover on the duvet—just a top and bottom sheet with extra blankets in the wardrobe. There were power sockets by the bed, but they were inaccessible due to the wooden bedhead, especially if using a UK adaptor. The female receptionist was helpful but not very friendly and with minimal customer service; my kettle needed replacing and this was duly done, but with what I can only describe as a scowl.
