First impression was amazing! It’s a charming traditional house in a stunning natural setting. All the photos are accurate, and it’s actually even better in person. Unfortunately, during our stay the water ran out completely, and the owners couldn’t help us, which was very awkward. We spent a full day without water, even though we chose a well‑furnished accommodation. Overall, I recommend it, but keep in mind that the place is quite remote, so be prepared. On the plus side, there’s a supermarket in Tentište 10 km away and the whole city of Foše.

The house is incredibly charming, it feels like stepping back into the past. Peace and quiet dominate the place, and the owners were exceptionally kind and helpful.

“Charming place like no other”

This spot feels like a unique home away from home, with the entire cottage tucked into your own private valley—like stepping back into grandparents' era, giving a cosy, unwinding vibe, yet there’s still Wi‑Fi. The kitchen is well‑equipped with cooking essentials such as oil, and you can buy a variety of drinks or handcraft items by paying in cash. Note that you should park your car at the first house you encounter after leaving the road; to reach the cottage you’ll need to navigate a steep gravel road with short, sharp turns. The sign over the entrance gate bears a different name than Lalovic, but that shouldn’t confuse you. Also, the phone number you receive after booking here isn’t correct; emailing the owner for the right number gets it instantly. If you plan to self‑cater, pick up supplies from one of the two village markets in Tjentiste—they offer more than you’d expect. Alternatively, there are plenty of restaurants before or after Prijedel. It’s lovely to support locals by buying jam, honey, or spirits from stalls along the roadside between Tjentiste and Prijedel. Nothing to dislike, you won’t regret it!
