I was blown away by the central spot in that charming Salzburg town surrounded by beautiful scenery, and the inn is a must‑visit! The family vibe was warm, the owners were super friendly and helpful, and I’ll definitely come back. The only downside was that I couldn’t stay longer :-/

A warm welcome, a lovely single room with a balcony overlooking the mountains, a great breakfast served with a personal newspaper at the table, and a parking spot right on the property.

The breakfast was spot on – eggs cooked just right and the chef even painted faces on them every morning, which was a fun touch. The staff were super friendly, and the dinner service (only offered three nights a week) was tasty and reasonably priced. Every day they handed out a little “newspaper” with weather updates and activity suggestions, and overall service was top‑notch.

The location was fantastic, with a peaceful mountain view that we really enjoyed. On the flip side, the bathroom was quite cramped and had carpeted floors, and the reception and follow‑up from the managers felt a bit rushed.
