The property offers genuine relaxation and a vacation vibe: the host creates a family‑like atmosphere and looks after guests thoroughly. A deserted beach invites strolls. The kitchen staff prepared three solid meals daily. Wi‑Fi was always available and fast enough. The bungalows were quiet, practical, equipped with 230V and a fresh water tap. Luckily, the mosquito net wasn’t needed. The host offered excursions if desired, though we didn’t take any. Throughout our stay we saw no spiders, snakes, scorpions, or similar nasty creatures on land or in the water. The only downside is that it’s a small, family‑run place a bit isolated; reading material is recommended.

“Don’t go there” – especially if you’re prone to the worst post‑paradise blues when it’s time to leave a stunning place. And seriously, the owners and staff at Kokoa Sands don’t make it any easier; they do the opposite. We’ve never felt such genuine hospitality elsewhere. This place is simply amazing, and Kokoa Sands now holds a very special place in our hearts. ❤️ There was nothing we wouldn’t like!

The accommodation’s location right next to a long, beautiful beach and mostly blue or turquoise sea is fantastic. You’re well served there and the staff is friendly. The place is a quiet haven, an oasis with a cozy and family‑like atmosphere. The slightly longer journey over a sometimes rough sand track is both a pro and a con. Since the route from Mangily is very nice and authentic, it can also be considered an impressive excursion. You should allow a sunny half‑day for the round trip with a rented 4x4 all‑wheel‑drive vehicle. Nature and seclusion are rarely found just around the corner.

“Must-stay!! Best hotel ever!”

Koloa Sands was truly one of the most amazing stays I’ve ever had! The property is breathtaking and sits right on the most stunning and peaceful beach (there’s paddle boards, kayaks, and more available to enjoy the water). The on‑site restaurant food was delicious and fairly priced, and the room was perfect. Overall, it was a fantastic stay! Jean‑Michelle and Pearl are the most welcoming and helpful hosts I’ve had the pleasure of staying with. It was my friend’s birthday and they went above and beyond to make her feel appreciated and special. Also, be sure to ask Pearl about her jewelry; it’s absolutely stunning!

The location is super quiet, with a white‑sand beach and spectacular turquoise water. The menu changes daily for lunch and dinner. The owners are attentive and charming. The bungalows are spacious, comfortable, and have a good bathroom with hot water.
