The location, cleanliness, and staff—Marika, her mother who handles breakfast, and the cleaning lady—were all very kind. Parking was free almost directly in front of the B&B. The area is central and a 10‑minute walk from Ortigia, very close to the center. Our room even had a balcony overlooking a playground and a busy street, so it was a bit noisy. The room was spacious and airy, with a third bed that we bought for two people. The door to the shower was a bit worn and needs fixing, but the bathroom, though dated, was very clean and well equipped.

I was utterly disappointed by the service and the lack of any real hospitality; the accommodation felt old and uncomfortable, and the staff seemed only interested in making us pay under their imposed conditions. They even forced us to go to another chain’s office to pay, which made it absurd to wander through an unfamiliar old town just to settle a night's bill. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The breakfast was generous and came with a pleasant surprise, but the bathroom was inconvenient because the blinds didn’t work and there was nowhere to put things. The room had broken tiles everywhere and the bathroom door was a flimsy flap that wouldn’t close.
