Peaceful Room in Shared Flat Close to Old Town

The kitchen had appliances, especially a washing machine and dryer, which were essential during rainy weather. Some areas were not clean enough: the microwave and washing machine had to be washed before use. There was a lack of floor mop and kitchen towels, but there were microfiber napkins that I used instead of a kitchen towel. There was no extra toilet paper, so I bought paper and a floor mop.

“If it would have been quiet then probably would have had peaceful stay.”

The room was good and private with a view of the yard. The location was very good and the surroundings were quiet and beautiful, with a park right next to the building. The people sharing the communal rooms didn’t respect the 23.00 peace time. I had difficulty sleeping well. They were drinking and one guy was vomiting at night for a long time, and I heard everything from my room, so the quality of sleep was poor. Maybe I just happened to be there at a time when this happened.

The location was wonderful, the old town was nearby, and there was a pleasant shady park. Communication with the owner was simple. The biggest issue was the neighbors; they were always cooking in the kitchen, doing laundry, and creating a huge mess on the toilet floor. Also, my room was clearly smaller than the promised 10 m² and was poorly positioned. The apartment was supposed to be walked in house shoes, but no slippers were provided, which ruined the impression. When the neighbors left a huge puddle on the toilet floor, it was unclear how to go there in socks.

“Pros and cons”

Overall, my stay was pleasant and the room matched the listing’s expectations. The location was very convenient—close to public transport, shops, and cafés, making it easy and enjoyable to get around. The room itself was exactly as shown in the photos: nicely decorated with a simple yet tasteful design that fits the price point, and it had the essentials for a comfortable stay. The space was generally comfortable, but cleaning supplies were a bit limited, making it a bit hard to tidy the bathroom before and after use. The frequency of professional cleaning felt a little infrequent considering the cleaning fee included in the stay; a small increase in cleaning support or supplies would improve the experience.

The place was not clean, there was no toilet paper at all. Other tenants were loud even at midnight, it was crazy, and some people were cooking at midnight so I couldn’t sleep all night.
