The place was tidy, the bed comfortable and I had plenty of privacy, plus the staff were quick to answer any questions. The only real drawback was the neighborhood – it feels unsafe after dark, although a quick Uber ride gets you out of the area without trouble.

I was in Rio on business and needed something cheap and close to the center, and this spot actually blew me away. The room was spotless, the gas‑powered shower was strong, and the double bed was surprisingly comfy for the price. A tiny table gave me a great view, the air‑conditioner chilled the space perfectly, and the metro station was just a short walk away; plus there were plenty of bars nearby and I could stroll to Glória beach, Lapa, or catch the tram to Santa Teresa.

I was looking for a place near Santos Dumont airport that wasn’t in the hectic downtown or Lapa, and this location hit the mark – shops are right around the corner and the area stays lively both day and night. The apartment was clean, airy, quiet and comfortable, and waking up to a view of Sugarloaf was a real treat. Michele, the host, was friendly and helpful, and I’d definitely book here again on my next visit.

The room itself was pleasant – a comfy bed, solid air‑conditioning, a decent wardrobe and everything was spotless, and it was close to a bunch of attractions. Getting there was a hassle, though: you have to cross a long walkway, climb stairs and wait for elevators, and the kitchen was off‑limits. On top of that, the Wi‑Fi kept dropping, which made it hard to stay connected.
