“A great place to stay!”

I appreciated how comfortable the bedrooms were and the convenient location of the guesthouse; the rooms stayed neat and tidy, and the air conditioners worked fine. They provided almost everything you could need – a fridge, a chiller, and a stove for cooking – and even had cars or motorcycles available for rent. Throughout my stay, there were no blackouts. I did wish the hot and cold shower had worked better; it was hard to shower without burning my scalp and skin, and the Wi‑Fi was a bit slow.

“Disappointed/ unpleasant”

We arrived and were immediately let down by the misleading advertisement and edited photos that were shown here. I understand the price is low, but showing photos that hide what it actually looks like is unacceptable, and we did not receive a refund. I would steer clear!

The family was very welcoming and helpful, but the bathroom was a bit exposed to the elements and the cistern wasn’t working.

“Ich würde es keinem empfehlen hier zu buchen sehr dreckig und voller termieten”

Nothing was extremely dirty. However, it was extremely filthy, the beds were full of termites and their droppings were everywhere on the bed, the toilet and shower were also very unsanitary and dirty.

“Good location but could find better value for money.”

The location was good, most staff were friendly and welcoming, and the bed was comfortable. There was a lot of noise; the rooms are above the dining area, and people were cooking late at night and early in the morning, making it hard to sleep. The room and shared bathroom could have been cleaner, and one staff member was a bit pushy about staying longer and questioning our plans. I’m all for friendliness, but it was a bit much at times.
