The staff really made an effort to keep things personal, checking in with me directly and remembering my name. That kind of contact made the whole stay feel a lot friendlier.

The owners were incredibly friendly, greeting us each morning with a smile. It felt welcoming from start to finish.
“Pet‑friendly perk, but basic room”
We could bring our dog into the room, which was a huge plus, and at breakfast we were the only two guests, so they set up a nice little buffet just for us. The food was tasty and the service attentive. The downside was the room itself – very basic, and the bathroom didn’t even have a soap dispenser. Still, the pet‑friendly perk made up for it.
