The hosts were super welcoming, offering breakfast and dinner (which is a bonus), and I really liked the setting and the stunning view of St. Paul and the harbor; the dinner was good. It was a shame there was no hot chocolate at breakfast, but overall it was still very good, and I did find a hair in the pumpkin gratin, which was otherwise excellent.

A nice spot with a good view, and the hosts were friendly. Getting there was a bit tricky because Google Maps led us through narrow roads; it’s a bit far, but it works if you plan to head to Maido in the morning.

The modern décor and the superb terrace with ocean views let us watch a beautiful sunset, and the property is about 45 minutes from Maïdo; the dinner, priced at €30 per person, featured a genuine Réunion specialty. We had requested a takeaway breakfast, but it was disappointingly sparse—a banana, a vacuum‑sealed chocolate croissant, and a juice carton—so it needs improvement if guests expect more.
