Overall, it was okay. The price, however, is too high – it used to be only forty‑five or fifty RMB, now it’s over a hundred.

This place is a true oasis right in downtown Cairo, just a 10‑minute walk to the Nile even though the streets are busy. The rooms, each with its own bathroom, were nicely furnished and well equipped, like a decent hotel. The food was both tasty and inexpensive. Sitting by the courtyard pool, which was cool and relaxing, was a highlight. The only downside was that keeping the outdoor area clean in the middle of Cairo is tough, but it was still acceptable.

A fantastic backpacker’s hotel in an amazing location, housed in a very old villa. The staff is great and the prices are fair, and the neighborhood feels like the real Cairo.

It was so comfortable throughout my whole stay. I almost didn't feel like a hostel. Mostly everyone was social :) the common areas were great. The breakfast and dinner were so authentic and amazingggg. I am grateful they offer laundry services. n/a
