I never left the private onsen for hours; it was a pure delight. Otherwise, it’s a decent old-school hotel with nothing major to complain about. The breakfast was mediocre, and there was a niche by the door—apparently for shoes—which I tripped over at night and broke my foot.

The parking attendant at the entrance opened the door for me, and the front desk lady was warm and enthusiastic, asking about nearby evening food spots and recommending them with great enthusiasm, even giving detailed directions and shop names that truly moved me. Plus, the hotel is just a 5‑minute walk from Exit 1 of Xinbeitou MRT Station, so close you could almost step out.

The location and price give great value; you can get off the MRT right outside, the supermarket downstairs is handy, the bed is super comfortable, and you can walk to the park until 12 pm to check out or catch a bus to the mountains from the entrance. The downside is the breakfast egg was too hard, the middle of the burger egg felt a bit odd, and there were not many protein options besides meat in the morning, which was quite noticeable. My previous visit left a better impression.

The hotel is within walking distance to both the MRT and a bus stop, and the staff are very helpful and polite. However, there are only a few dining options nearby, no view, and no shopping centre in the area.
