The owner was very friendly, and the rest of the staff were also kind and helpful. The location was good for exploring Cornwall, and there was a parking space right in front of the house. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The only downside was that breakfast ended quite early, which is understandable for a family-run place.

The garden room was super, perfect for summer—a large, comfortable room with twin beds and a decent en‑suite. There was plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits, and a bottle of fresh water each day, and the fan was a nice bonus. The terrace room had games and books, plus a mini‑bar honesty box. The staff were very helpful, friendly, and accommodated our early start on the last day. Breakfast options were good and beautifully cooked by Steve; the sous‑chef was delightful, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the area. The service was friendly and comfortable, thanks! A very minor issue: there could have been more soap in the dispenser, the tiles around the bath needed a wash, and the socket behind the bed was very dusty.
