The country vibe, proximity to the village, and the beautifully furnished home were all great. Gabi, the host, was wonderful and cared for us well.

The breakfast was excellent, the vineyard setting lovely, the rooms comfortable, and the drive to Saint-Emilion was short.

The place was beautiful, stunning, and peaceful—absolutely perfect with no faults. We stayed during a heatwave and the property felt heavenly. The staff were incredibly professional and friendly, and everything went smoothly. We loved our stay.

Château Haut-Brisson was the highlight of our France trip. The small château, surrounded by its own vineyards, was a delightful surprise. Since it had been closed for a while and only recently reopened, we were a bit cautious about the lack of recent reviews—but we’re glad we booked. The rooms are exceptionally clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The beds are very comfortable, and the lobby feels like a work of art; the photos are realistic. The terrace offers a superb evening view over the vineyards and sunset—a great spot to sit with a glass of wine and consider cancelling future plans. The breakfast deserves its own paragraph; it truly needs to be experienced: delicious, homemade dishes served with a level of care and quality that felt genuinely luxurious. It’s easily one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had. A special thank you to Gabriela, whose hosting was exceptional. She made us feel truly welcome from the start and was wonderfully professional, kind, and accommodating with all our requests. Our room rate included a winery visit and tasting. Unfortunately, I couldn’t attend because I had a cold, but my wife and friends loved it. The wines impressed us so much that we bought more than a dozen bottles, which were promptly shipped to us. In short: we loved every part of this stay. A beautiful, peaceful, welcoming place with excellent service, wonderful food, and a very special atmosphere. We would recommend Château Haut-Brisson 100% to anyone looking for a memorable and genuinely pleasant experience in the area.
