The surroundings were fantastic even though catching a decent-sized trout proved tricky, and the fishing licence cost €30 per person over 15 for a week. The owners were very responsive by message and phone, and we appreciated that they agreed to buy a new barbecue for us after we asked, despite previous renters having bad BBQ experiences. The only minor wish was an extra power outlet in the bedroom for occasional needs like topping up firewood, but it never caused any real problem.

Super cheap, the house was well equipped. The handover was unclear; we had to ask about the laundry. The kitchen was moderately equipped, and there was only one roll of toilet paper. The pans were small and the frying pan was very, very worn. Communication was a bit confusing.

Marianne was very kind! The house’s location is gorgeous, right by the river in breathtaking nature, one of our favorite spots in Norway. Everything needed is there, and the house feels very cozy. The mattresses are unfortunately very soft and a bit saggy; some people like soft mattresses, but that’s not our preference. Other than that, everything was perfect!

The view from this place is absolutely stunning. It's a real treat to wake up to such a breathtaking sight every morning. The only downside is that the noise from the surrounding area can be a bit of a nuisance.
