It was my first time on a boat, and I liked it.

We were curious about what it would be like to sleep on a boat, and it turned out to be great. Even though it’s on the water, you hardly notice it, as if you were sleeping on solid ground. We ran into an issue with the bathroom, but Fernando, the host, not only explained it over the phone but also came over to fix it “on the spot.” The place was clean and had plenty of kitchen supplies, but I missed having a pan for grilling sandwiches at breakfast. The bathroom problem was a bit of a hassle, yet they offered us showers and a toilet in the area that was shared, so everything worked out. The shared facilities were actually more spacious than the boat’s own bathroom, and it felt like a private bathroom at home, not like a camping or sports complex setting.

There was nothing positive. The toilet wasn’t emptied, so it overflowed with urine and feces. It was very worn out, and there was a hole in the floor in front of the table covered with carpet, so it wasn’t visible.

The owner was very kind and helpful, but the bathroom drain didn’t work well.
