Breakfast was solid with a decent variety, giving me a good start to the day.
“Great Location”
We stayed before and after our trip to Pulua Weh, and the location was great for the port and Tsunami museum. The room was comfortable, the staff were friendly, and we felt very safe. I wasn’t a fan of the breakfast and missed hot tea, but there were plenty of options—just not my taste.
“Excellent rapport qualité prix”
The comfort, breakfast, and rooftop were all excellent. Nothing negative to report.
“Helpful staff, good sized rooms, a safety issue regarding floor levels outside guest room”
The staff were very helpful, and the food was acceptable though nothing remarkable; a few dishes were overly salty. The room was spacious and overlooked a park, but maintenance could have been better. A serious safety concern exists: after exiting the lift to reach the guest rooms, there are 30 cm level differences that are not warned about because the step and floor tiles are the same colour. One person in our group tripped and fell flat on his face, but his backpack cushioned the impact; otherwise, the fall could have caused serious head or arm injuries. This is unsafe for young children or seniors. The air‑con in the room needs servicing, and room service was slow. At the ground‑floor restaurant, simple drink requests took a long time because the drinks had to be fetched from another restaurant.
“Una decepción total”
The hotel is well‑situated next to the mosque, parks, and markets, and the breakfast was fine. However, the room was a disaster: enormous cockroaches, countless mosquitoes, and shower, sink, and toilet water came out brown and ran for a long time. The rooms clearly don’t match the 4‑star rating.
