Located in the heart of Barcelona, the hotel let me walk to any tourist spot, the interior was lovely and made my stay comfortable, and I especially enjoyed the complimentary coffee and cookies.
We splurged on an upgrade to a room with a large balcony, paying 560 euros—well above our budget—but it felt worth it. The suite was bright and spacious, featured a bathtub, and left a very good overall impression, although finding the entrance was a bit tricky at first; the staff were friendly enough to guide us.
